M11 Motorway, Junction 11 - Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic To Works

What is happening?

THE M11 MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 11) SLIP ROADS
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 202_

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited(a) intends to make an Order on the M11 Motorway in Cambridgeshire, to enable nearby local authority works at Hauxton Road roundabout to be carried out in safety.

The works are expected to take place over 9 nights (9pm-5am) starting on, or after, Monday 1 June 2026.

The effect of the Order would be to close, in phases, the northbound and southbound entry and exit slip roads leading to and from the M11 at Junction 11.

During the slip road closures traffic wishing to enter or leave the M11 would be diverted via the nearest open slip road using local roads including the A10, A505, A1301, A1198, A603, A1134 and A1309.

The closures (which would not apply to works or emergency services vehicles) and diversion routes would be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

The Order would come into force on 25 May 2026 and may continue in force until the works detailed above have been completed, or for a maximum duration of 18 months, whichever is the earlier.
