Church Road - Temporary Road Closure Due To Water Works

Parish Of Stawell - Temporary Closure Of Church Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Church Road - from the junction with Moor Road, southwards for a total distance of 54 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out remedial construction works.

The Order becomes effective on 5th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 11th May 2026 and last until 12th May 2026 between the hours of 08:00 - 16:00 for a total of 2 days.
