Fareham - Temporary Road Closures To Facilitate Delivery Access For Building Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES - HILL HEAD ROAD AND CLIFF ROAD, FAREHAM
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED:
- that part of Hill Head Road between its junction with Cliff Road and its junction with Crofton Lane.
- that part of Cliff Road between its junction with Hill Head Road and its junction with Knights Bank Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:
Meon Road, Triangle Lane,Posbrook Lane, Coach Hill, Bridge Street, B3334, Titchfield Road, Cuckoo Lane, Crofton Lane.
DURATION OF ORDER: from 5th May 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required on various dates for no longer than 26 weeks, working between the hours 07:00-17:00 and in operation for 24 hours a day when required).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Turvey Construction Ltd to manage deliveries for building work. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order or the associated works, please contact: tracey.bell@turveyconstructionltd.co.uk
Turvey Construction Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
