What is happening?

SOMERSET COUNCIL

Parish Of Puriton - Temporary Closure Of Hillside Crescent

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Hillside Crescent - from the junction with Hillside, eastwards for a total distance of 29 metres. This Order will enable Barr Engineering to carry out poling works on behalf of Openreach.

The Order becomes effective on 5th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 14th May 2026 and last until 14th May 2026 between the hours of 09:30 - 14:30 for a total of 5 hours.
