ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC COMMON ROAD, SOUTH CAVE (PART)
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Common Road, South Cave (betwen Jarratt Hill Lane and Carr Dike Lane) commencing Wednesday 27 May 2026 to change a pole.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within one day.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via the remainder of Common Lane, Carr Lane, Main Street, Ellerker Road, Ings Lane, Norfolk Bank Lane and Ellerker Lane. The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. Access will be maintained for residents, pedestrians and emergency services only.
