What is happening?
Sizewell C (Nuclear Generating Station) Order 2022/853 – Article 19
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF B1122 ABBEY ROAD AND PART OF EASTBRIDGE ROAD LEISTON
SIZEWELL C (Nuclear Generating Station) intends to make an order closing B1122 Abbey Road from its junction with Potter Street to approximately 85m to the south of its junction with Eastbridge Road, and Eastbridge Road for approximately 100m from its junction with B1122 Abbey Road, to facilitate works associated with the delivery of the Pizza Roundabout.
Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.
The Abbey Road diversion route will be B1122, A12, A1094 and B1069 and vice versa.
The Eastbridge Road diversion route will be Eastbridge Road, either Onners Lane or Church Road, and B1122.
It is intended that the closure will operate over two weekends between the hours of 8pm on Friday 5th June until 5am on Monday 8th June and 8pm on Friday 12th June until 5am on Monday 15th June.
