(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC, SPEED RESTRICTION AND WAITING/LOADING) ORDER EVENTS/2026/IWM DUXFORD
NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council has made an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which is to restrict traffic on the roads listed in schedule 1, 3 and to impose a Speed Limit along all roads in schedule 2 of this order.
The Order will be effective, for safety purposes, when signs are in place indicating the restrictions on any or all of roads listed on event days.
The Proposed Order will come into operation on 9th May 2026 and will continue until 3rd October 2026.
It is anticipated that the air show days will be held on 9th May 6th June 4th, 5th and 24th July 22nd August 12th and 13th September and 3rd October 2026.
Nothing in this Order shall apply so as to prevent the passage of any vehicle being used by any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform or of a Civil Enforcement Officer.
