What is happening?

The Council of the City of Salford has made under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (BLACKFIELD LANE) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026.

The Order will introduce a road closure on Blackfield Lane, Salford, M7 4HT. The Order is necessary as part of Cadent Gas' gas mains replacement works. The order is due to come into operation on Monday 18th May 2026 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Sunday 7th June 2026. 

The diversion routes is via Vine Street - Bury New Road - Radford Street.
