What is happening?
Sizewell C (Nuclear Generating Station) Order 2022/853 – Article 19
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF MOAT ROAD AND PART OF GEORGE ROAD, THEBERTON
SIZEWELL C (Nuclear Generating Station) intends to make an order closing Moat Road from its junction with B1122 Leiston Road approximately 1km to Moat Farm, and George Road from its junction with Moat Road for approximately 110m, to facilitate works associated with the delivery of the Sizewell Link Road.
Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.
The diversion route for Moat Road will be B1122, Pretty Road, Hawthorn Road and vice versa. The diversion route for George Road will be Abbey Lane, Harrow Lane and vice versa unless otherwise communicated.
It is intended that the closure will operate 24 hours each day from Tuesday 26th May to Friday 7th August.
