Kings Somborne - Temporary Road Closures Due To Excavation Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES -A3057 ROMSEY ROAD & HORSEBRIDGE ROAD, KINGS SOMBORNE, TEST VALLEY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED:
1. A3057 Romsey Road between its junction with Church Road and its junction with Horsebridge Farm Road.
2. Horsebridge Road between its junction with A3057 Romsey Road and its junction with Horsebridge Farm Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A3057, A30, A36, A27, A3090, A3057
DURATION OF ORDER: from 6th May 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days, working between the hours 09:30 - 16:00).
The road closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Circet to carry out excavate to lay 5M CW duct. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: JOSEPH.RUDDY@CIRCET.CO.UK
Circet will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
