What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE & TEMPORARY SPEED REDUCTION - SALISBURY ROAD & BALKESBURY HILL, UPPER CLATFORD, TEST VALLEY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED & SUBJECT TO 30MPH SPEED LIMIT: that part of Salisbury Road between its junction with Balkesbury Hill and its junction with A343 Salisbury roundabout

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Balkesbury Hill, Foundry Road and Salisbury A343

ROAD TO BE CLOSED & SUBJECT TO 30MPH SPEED LIMIT: that part of Balkesbury Hill between its junction with A343 Salisbury Road and its junction with Foundry Road

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Balkesbury Hill, Foundry Road, Salisbury A343, Salisbury Road

DURATION OF ORDER: from 7th May 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. Works to be completed in phases.

The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Brownes to carry out works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: Toni.bentley@browne.co.uk

Brownes will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
