Derby Road - Introduce A Road Closure
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford has made under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (DERBY ROAD) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026.
The Order will introduce a road closure on Derby Road, Salford, M5 5NZ. The Order is necessary for essential works to be done. The order is due to come into operation on Monday 1st June 2026 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Tuesday 9th June 2026. The diversion routes are via Eccles New Road - Langworthy Road - Liverpool Street, vice versa.
