What is happening?

Salford City Council proposes to make the CITY OF SALFORD (BACK HILTON STREET AND WELLINGTON STREET WEST, BROUGHTON) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to introduce the following:

NO WAITING AT ANY TIME:
Back Hilton Street, both sides, from the south-eastern extended kerbline of Wellington Street West, for 10m in a south-easterly direction. Wellington Street West, (i) southeast side, from the north-eastern extended kerbline of Back Hilton Street, for 10m in an easterly direction, (ii) south-east side, from the south westerly extended kerbline of Back Hilton Street, for 15.3m in a south-westerly direction.

A copy of the proposed Order, the Statement of Reasons, and a plan showing the proposals can be requested by emailing phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or examined in person at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
