What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY ORDER KING EDWARD STREET, ASHBOURNE

WHEN: 24 May 2026 (09:30 to 15:30)
WHERE: King Edward Street, Ashbourne between Jct. with Compton and Bus Station.
REASON: To facilitate repairs to manhole cover and frame.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Compton, Dig Street, Church Street, Station Road, King Edward Street, Ashbourne.

The road closure and one way suspension will be in force for the time stated or until the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
