PROVISION OF TOUCAN CROSSING ON
A6117 OAK TREE LANE, MANSFIELD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes to install a signalised Toucan Crossing on A6117 Oak Tree Lane, Mansfield in the District of Mansfield.
1. The proposals will incorporate a controlled area, indicated by zig-zag markings along the carriageway where parking, stopping and loading will be prohibited. The extents of the controlled areas are: -
A6117 Oak Tree Lane, Mansfield (both sides)
From a point 150 metres south of its junction with Oak Tree Lane (Access Road) in a northerly direction for 44 metres.
The proposed Toucan Crossing would improve pedestrian and cyclists accessibility when crossing over A6117 Oak Tree Lane, as well as improving safety. Further details can be found by visiting the County Council’s Website (
