TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH HODDESDON 054
NOTICE is given that Broxbourne Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using the length of Footpath Hoddesdon 054, from the New River Path southwards towards Conduit Lane East, for an approximate distance of 420 metres.
The alternative route for pedestrians for Footpath Hoddesdon 054 will be via- Essex Road (Eastwards) towards A1170, then southwards to Lamp pits (Eastwards) to Conduit Lane East (Southwards).
The purpose of the Order is to enable Thames water to carry out repair works.
Footpath Hoddesdon 054 will be closed on or after 18th May for up to 6 months, when signs are in place. Works are expected to take 3 weeks to complete.
