What is happening?

A666 ST PETERS WAY TEMPORARY CLOSURES

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 S.14

The Council has made an order, operative from 11 May 2026 for 3 weeks, overnights between 8pm and 6am approx, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from proceeding on St Peters Way (northbound carriageway - towards Bolton) from Kearsley Roundabout to Topp Way, to allow resurfacing to take place. Alternative route is via Farnworth, Manchester Rd, Bradshawgate, Manor St, Bank St, Bow St, Bridge St. The Order will end after 18 months or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.
