Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:

(i) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

ALDBOROUGH AND THURGARTON – C293 The Street from its junction with C293 Thurgarton Road to its junction with U14392 School Road to facilitate carriageway patching works from 11th to 12th May 2026 (may continue until 23rd June 2026). Alternative route is via The Street, Sustead Road, Mill Road, The Common, A140 Norwich Road, Aldborough Road, Church Road, Town Green, Thwaite Hill, Thwaite Road, The Green, Thurgarton Road (Aldborough & Thurgarton, Alby with Thwaite, Hanworth). BLAKENEY – High Street from 75m south of its junction with The Quay for 35m southwards to facilitate access to substation and electrical works from 11th to 22nd May (may continue until 3rd July 2026). Phase 1 from 11th to 13th May 2026, Phase 2 from 18th to 22nd May 2026.

CAISTER-ON-SEA – A149 Caister Bypass (Southbound Carriageway Only) from its junction with A149 Norwich Road to its junction with A149 Caister Road to facilitate surface dressing from 11th May to 13th June 2026 (may continue until 13th December 2026). Alternative route is via A149 Norwich Road, A1064 Norwich Road/Main Road/The Heath/Main Road/Old Road/Acle Link Road, A47, A149 Acle New Road/North Quay/Lawn Avenue/Caister Road. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council. NB: these works will take place in phases. Phase 1 between 19:00 and 05:00 from 11th to 16th May 2026, phase 2 between 19:00 and 05:00 from 1st to 4th June 2026, and phase 3 between 19:00 and 05:00 from 9th to 13th June 2026.

CAWSTON – B1145 High Street (northern side) from its junction with C476 Booton Lane (locally known as Booton Road) to its junction with C263 Chapel Street to facilitate section 278 works, traffic (constituting any class of vehicle) over the Road shall be temporarily prohibited to park, stop, load, and/or unload from 15th May to 6th June 2026 (may continue until 6th December 2026). FAKENHAM – Petticoat Lane/Fakenham FP13 from 23m north of its junction with Norwich Road for 15m northwards to facilitate electrical service connection works on 15th May 2026 (may continue until 26th June 2026). Alternative route is via Fakenham Footpath 13, Holt Road, Norwich Road, Petticoat Lane. The works promoter is UK Power Networks.

GREAT YARMOUTH – Footpath fronting 257 to 311 Lowestoft Road from its junction with Kennedy Avenue for 400m southwards to facilitate highway drainage remedial works between 20:00 and 06:00 from 11th to 15th May 2026 (may continue until 26th June 2026). Alternative route is via: Lowestoft Road, A47 Orgleston On Sea from Dualling to J B1370 Including Roundabout (Gorleston-on-Sea, Great Yarmouth). The works promoter is National Highways.

HELLESDON – U51524 Holt Road Layby from its junction with A140 Holt Road for 150m northwards to facilitate construction works in conjunction with the PEA039 Yellow Pedalway from 11th May to 22nd July 2026 (may continue until 22nd January 2027). Alternative route is via: A140 Holt Road. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

LANGHAM – C598 Holt Road from its junction with C314 North Street for 65m eastwards to facilitate electrical supply installation works from 11th to 14th May 2026 (may continue until 25th June 2026). Alternative route is via C314 North Street, B1156 Langham Road, C328 Wiveton Road, C598 Holt Road. The works promoter is UK Power Networks.

LUDHAM – U19064 How Hill Road from 645m south of its junction with U19675 Sharpe Street for 50m south-westwards to facilitate frame and cover replacement works from 11th to 13th May 2026 (may continue until 24th June 2026). Alternative route is via How Hill Road, Sharpe Street, Ludham Road, Catfield Road, High Street, A1062 Norwich Road, School Lane, Whitegates, School Road, How Hill Road (Ludham, Catfield). ORMESBY ST. MARGARET WITH SCRATBY – C460 Station Road from its junction with U69811 Claymore Gardens for 30m westwards to facilitate relaying of a lead pipe works from 11th to 15th May 2026 (may continue until 26th June 2026). SOMERTON – A, C640 Martham Road from its junction with U69359 Sandy Lane for 30m north-eastwards and B) U69359 Sandy Lane from its junction with C640 Martham Road for 10m northwards to facilitate new water connection works from 13th to 15th May 2026 (may continue until 26th June 2026). DEOPHAM AND HACKFORD – U78056 Park Lane from its junction with U78214 Top Road for 410m northwards to facilitate pole testing works between 09:30 and 15:30 on 14th May 2026 (may continue until 25th June 2026). HALES AND HECKINGHAM – U76349 Briar Lane from its joining with 7R0731 Heckingham FP2 for 60m south-westwards to facilitate the installation of HV circuit works for the new development from 13th to 29th May 2026 (may continue until 10th July 2026). SCOUTON AND ROCKLANDS – C130 Golden Corner/Scouton Road from 420m west of its junction with U33141 Scouton Road for 380m southwards to facilitate carriageway patching works from 11th to 15th May 2026 (may continue until 26th June 2026). WIMBOTSHAM – C788 Church Road from 100m west of its junction with C884 Lynn Road for 30m westwards to facilitate electrical power installation works from 11th to 14th May 2026 (may continue until 25th June 2026). Alternative route is via: Church Road, Lynn Road, Low Road (Downham Market, Wimbotsham). The works promoter is UK Power Networks.

HOLT – A) Mill Street from 70m east of its junction with New Street for 60m eastwards, B) Mill Court from its junction with Mill Street for 10m northwards and C) Albert Street from its junction with Mill Street for 10m southwards to facilitate desilting of a BT chamber between 09:30 and 15:30 on 5th May 2026 (may continue until 16th June 2026). ITTERINGHAM – Wolterton Road from 180m northeast of its junction with C287 The Street for 200m north-eastwards to facilitate broadband and telephone service installations between 09:30 and 15:30 on 8th May 2026 (may continue until 19th June 2026).
