The City of Edinburgh Council

(Ferry Road) (Temporary Road Restriction and Traffic Regulation) Order 2026 - TEMP/26/23

The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate carriageway resurfacing and footway works, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on any part of: (i) Ferry Rd (south leg, access to Drylaw Shopping Centre), from the extended south kerbline of Ferry Rd, westwards, southwards & then eastwards to the extended west kerbline of Easter Drylaw Pl (north leg, access to Drylaw Shopping Centre); & (ii) Easter Drylaw Pl (north leg, access to Drylaw Shopping Centre), from the extended north kerbline of Easter Drylaw Pl, northwards for 55m. The alternative route for through vehicular traffic in relation to the road closures of ferry rd & easter drylaw pl is Ferry Rd, Easter Drylaw View & Easter Drylaw Pl. The Order shall have effect from 03/05 /26 to 25/ 08/26.
