Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 4th May 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Columb Road. This prohibition is necessary for annual review and maintenance of Level Crossing and it is expected thatthe closure will be from 19th May 2026 to 20th May 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2200 and 0600, weekdays only.

This prohibition is necessary for works to resurface footpath and it is expected that the closure will be from 1st June 2026 to 19th June 2026. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 2nd April 2026 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Minorca Lane, Bugle between grid references SX 02905 60219 and sx 03469 60427.
The Order which commenced on the 3rd April 2026 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 5th June 2026.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out pothole repairs.
Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
