TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC000 149461140 : The City of Manchester (Barlow Moor Road, Chorlton Park Ward)(Temporary Closure of Cycle Lane) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit any pedal cycle (and any pedestrian) from proceeding at any time in the following length of cycle lane: Barlow Moor Road. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate installing 1x long sided new water connection and to disconnect the old lead supply. It is expected that the works will be in progress from the 9th May 2026 to the 10th May 2026. The order shall come into operation on the 9th May 2026and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
