THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(ORMES LANE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council ave made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the h
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Ormes Lane
outside property 4.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 6 May 2026 until 8 May 2026, between the
hours of 09:30 and 15:30.
The diversion route is: Church Road, Wood Road and vice
versa.
The Order is required to facilitate a new customer
connection by BT.
