Notice Of Making Of Temporary Traffic Order For Planned Works Affecting: Manor Road, West Ealing.

Ealing Council has made the following temporary traffic order under sections 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

Title of order

This order can be referred to as: Temporary traffic order for planned works - TT 5117 Manor Road, West Ealing - 2026.

Reason for order

This order is needed to allow for works taking place on or near the road. These works involve HG Construction Ltd carrying out new building development works.

Effect of order

1. The following temporary restrictions on vehicle movements will take effect from 27th April 2026.

(a) Manor Road will have a no entry in force for vehicles heading in an easterly direction towards (B452) Argyle Road from the junction of Drayton Road to the junction with (B452) Argyle Road. (75 metres in total). A one-way system for vehicles heading westbound on Manor Road will be available for the duration of the works.

(b) Waiting, loading and unloading restrictions will be temporarily implemented at the following location on Manor Road - Inset Parking bays on the southern kerb line directly outside the HG Construction development site.

(c) This order will prohibit a left turn out of Drayton Road into Manor Road.

(d) No waiting, loading, or unloading on either side of the carriageway within the fully closed section.

2. The above temporary restrictions and prohibitions will only apply at specified locations where appropriate traffic signs are provided and displayed in accordance with Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual.

3. While the temporary restrictions are in place, displaced vehicles should follow the diversions displayed in place to reach their destinations and comply with any traffic management measures.

4. This Order does not apply to:

(a) anything done at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a police community support officer (PCSO).

(b) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance.

Date order will come into force.
