What is happening?

The COUNCIL propose to make The Stirling Council (Castle Road, Doune) (Prohibition of Traffic - Except for Access) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended). This Order proposes to:-

Introduce a ‘Prohibition of Traffic, Except for Access’ restriction on Castle Road, Doune to prevent indiscriminate parking along this section of Castle Road by unauthorised vehicles.

Objectors should send their reasons in writing to the Head of Service, Environment and Place by e-mailing traffic@stirling.gov.uk quoting reference TM/6 - SRO/2026(126) by 22-5-26.

The COUNCIL propose to make The Stirling Council (King Street, Doune) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

This Order proposes to:-
Introduce ‘No Waiting between the hours of 8.00 am to 6.00 pm, Monday to Saturday (inclusive)’ restrictions on King Street, Doune to prevent indiscriminate parking on the grounds of road safety. Further details can be requested by e-mailing traffic@stirling.gov.uk. Objectors should send their reasons in writing to the Head of Service, Environment and Place by e-mailing traffic@stirling.gov.uk quoting reference TM/6 - SRO/2026(130) by 22-5-26.

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (A875, Printers Row, Balfron) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and Suspension of Parking) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 24-4-26.

This Order will close:-
A875 From its junction with the A811 to its junction with the A81.
This Order will also suspend the parking on:-
A875 On both sides of the road from the access road
leading to Ballindalloch in a north-easterly
direction for a distance of 215 metres or
thereby from 0900 hours until 1700 hours
from 18-5-26 until 24-5-26 to facilitate roads
maintenance works.
Emergency service access will be maintained
Alternative Routes: Cars and LGVs via A81, A811, A875 and vice versa

HGVs via A81, B834, A809, A811, A875 and vice versa

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (C106, Lochearnhead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic - No 2) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 24-4-26.
This Order will close:
C106 From its junction with the A84 to the Stirling Council / Perth and Kinross boundary from 0930 hours until 1530 hours from 18-5-26 until 24-5-26 to facilitate roads maintenance works.

Emergency service access will be maintained
Alternative routes: via A84, A85, C106 and vice versa

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Auchlyne Road / Craignavie Road, Killin)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 24-4-26.
This Order will close:
Auchlyne Road For its entire length (adopted section), and;
Craignavie Road From its junction with Manse Road to the point where it meets Auchlyne Road from 0800 hours until 1700 hours from 5-5-26 until 10-5-26 to facilitate roads maintenance works.
Emergency service access will be maintained
Alternative route: via Auchlyne Road, A85, A827, Craignavie Road and vice versa

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Craggan Road, Lochearnhead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 24-4-26.
This Order will close:
Craggan Road For its entire length (adopted section) from 0930 hours until 1530 hours from 11-5-26 until 17-5-26 to facilitate roads maintenance works. Emergency service access will be maintained

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Somer’s Lane, Blairdrummond) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic - No 2) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 24-4-26.
This Order will close:
Somer’s Lane On the north-east of the A84 for its entire length from 0930 hours until 1530 hours from 18-5-26 until 24-5-26 to facilitate roads maintenance works.
Access for emergency services will be maintained
Alternative Routes: via A84 and vice versa

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (40 mph Speed Limit)
(C83 and Lerrocks Road, Doune and Auchinteck Road and Kilbryde and Brack, Dunblane) (Part) Order 2025 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 24-4-26.

This Order introduces new 40-mph Limits on the C83 and Lerrocks Road, Doune. All restrictions are being implemented as part of Stirling Council’s roll out of Walking, Cycling, Horse Friendly Routes
