THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (COCKSHUT LANE, NETHER LANGWITH) (30MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2026 (1327)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council Has Made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Nether Langwith in the District of Bassetlaw in the County of Nottinghamshire: -
1. No person shall drive any vehicle at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour on that length of road specified in the Schedule of this Order.
SCHEDULE
COCKSHUT LANE, NETHER LANGWITH
From its junction with Portland Road in a northerly direction for 57 metres.
PORTLAND ROAD, NETHER LANGWITH
From a point 10 metres south-west of the south-western kerbline of Woodland View in a north-easterly direction to its junction with Cockshut Lane, Nether Langwith.

THIS ORDER WILL COME INTO FORCE ON 5TH MAY 2026
The 30mph Speed Limit has been introduced to reduce the speed of traffic to assist pedestrians when travelling to and from the school, to help improve road safety and help to reduce road accidents along the route.
