TEMPORARY CLOSING OF
ROADS
U1140 GALLROCK ROAD,
MAGHERY
Notice is hereby given that the Department for Infrastructure
in its capacity as Road Authority and acting in pursuance of
its powers under Article 7 of the Road Traffic Regulation
(Northern Ireland) Order 1997 has temporarily prohibited
the use of the above-named road to through traffic, from
100m before Gallrock Road bridge to 100m after Gallrock
Road bridge continuously, commencing on Monday 27th
April to Saturday 23rd May 2026.
Local access and access for emergency vehicles will be
maintained at all times.
This closure is to facilitate work by Amey Transport
Infrastructure.
An alternative route will be signed with traffic being diverted
via:
Diversion 1: U1140 Gallrock Road, U1143 Clonmacash
Road, U1142 Belmont Road, C0164 Cloncarrish Road,
C0161 Birches Road.
