NOTICEISHEREBYGIVENthattheWolverhamptonCityCouncilhavemadean
OrderunderSection14(1)(a)oftheRoadTrafficRegulationAct1984,assubstituted
by the Road Traffic(Temporary Restrictions)Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from
proceedingonthefollowingstretchesofroad:
• ParkRoadEastclosedinbothdirectionsfromitsjunctionwithDevonRoadtoits
junctionwithParkRoadWest/Southgate.
• ParkAvenueclosedinbothdirectionsbetweenitsjunctionswithParkRoadEast
andBathAvenue.
• Southgatecloseditsentirelengthinbothdirections.ParkRoadWestclosedin
both directions between its junctionswith Summerfield RoadandPark Road
East/Southgate.
• LansdowneRoadcloseditsentirelengthinbothdirections.VehicularDiversion
Route:NewhamptonRoadEast,DevonRoadandviceversa.
TheOrdermayoperateforamaximumperiodofeighteenmonths,butitisanticipated
thattherestrictionswilloperateon3rdMay2026,betweenthehoursof08:00and
18:00.
TheOrderisrequiredtofacilitatetheVaisakhiMelaEventtakingplaceinWestPark.
