(Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close the following roads in Lindfield:

Hickmans Lane: from Finches Park Road to The Welkin;
High Beech Lane/College Lane: from Sandridge Lane northwards to Lower Ryelands Bridge and
Copyhold Lane: from High Beech Lane/College Lane westwards for 765M.

These road closures are needed to allow the Lindfield Village Run to take place in safety.

The Order will come into effect at 1030hours on 17 May 2026 and remain in force until 1300hours the same day.

During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated and access to properties on the affected lengths of road will be maintained at all times.

(East Grinstead: Imberhorne Lane)
 (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Imberhorne Lane in East Grinstead from Heathcote Drive, southwards for 120M.

The road closure is needed to allow new electricity mains cables to be installed in safety.

The Order will come into effect on 18 May 2026 and remain in force until 4 July 2026. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.

During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.
