NOTICE OF VARIATION OF CHARGES SPRINGWOOD CAR PARK

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees intends to vary the charges for parking in Springwood car park, Huddersfield in accordance with Section 35C of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the variation will be to change the current scale of the parking charges in Springwood car park on Saturdays only as detailed below. Weekdays (i.e. Monday to Friday) charges and Sunday charges are unaffected.

The new charges will come into force on Monday 1st June 2026.

Existing charges

New charges

Saturday (8am – 6pm)

Saturday (8am – 6pm)

£4.40 for up to 5 hours

£6.90 for up to 10 hours

£1.70 for 90 minutes after 4:30pm

£1.20 for up to 1 hour

£1.70 for up to 90 minutes

£2.40 for up to 2 hours

£4.40 for up to 5 hours

£6.90 for up to 10 hours
