Sidlaw Terrace, Birkhill - Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Waiting
What is happening?
TRAFFIC ORDER
On 27/04/2026, Angus Council made The Angus Council (Sidlaw Terrace, Birkhill) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Waiting) Order 2026, under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, so that Scottish Water works may be undertaken. The Order will come into force on 04/05/26, from which date it is anticipated that the work will last for a period of eight days. However, the maximum duration in terms of the Act is 18 months. The effect of the Order is to prohibit all vehicular traffic from driving and waiting in or on Sidlaw Terrace, Birkhill from a point 45m west of its junction with Post Box Road in a westerly direction for a distance of 35m or thereby. The alternative route for vehicular traffic is via Post Box Road, Coupar Angus Road (A923) and Dronley Road. The reverse route applies. Access for pedestrians and emergency vehicles will be maintained. Full details of the Order are available at www.angus.gov.uk/trafficorders.
