HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY wedi gwneud Gorchymyn dan Adran 14(1)(a) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984. Cafodd y gorchymyn yn cael ei wneud oherwydd gwaith a oedd yn cael ei wneud ar neu ger y llwybrau troed.  
Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau Llwybr Troed Cyhoeddus 2 (rhan) y Fenni dros dro fel y dangosir ar y cynllun gorchymyn.  
Daw'r Gorchymyn i rym ar 18fed Mai 2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am hyd at chwe mis neu nes bod y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Bydd llwybr amgen ar gael fel y dangosir ar y cynllun gorchymyn.  
Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL             
SECTION 14(1)(a) - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 PUBLIC FOOTPATH 2 (PART) ABERGAVENNY URBAN ALSO KNOWN AS FOOTPATH 2(PART) ABERGAVENNY. TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026   

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under S14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The order was made due to works being executed on or near the footpaths.  
The effect of the Order was to close Public Footpath 2 (part) Abergavenny as shown on the order plan.  
The Order will come into force on the 18th May 2026 and will remain in force for up to 6 months or until the works are complete, whichever is the earlier. An alternative route will be available as shown on the order plan.  
By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.   For further information please contact Monmouthshire County Council’s Rights of Way Section on 01633644850 or email Countryside@Monmouthshire.gov.uk
