KIRKLEES COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

(GARDEN AVENUE, LITTLETOWN, LIVERSEDGE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Garden Avenue, Littletown from its junction with Bradford Road to a point outside property no. 1 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Bradford Road, Reuben Street, Garden Parade, the unaffected length of GardenAvenue.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 18 May 2026 and remain in force until 29 May 2026 between 07:30 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(JACK LANE, HANGING HEATON, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Jack Lane, Hanging Heaton from its junction with Savile Street to its junction with Peter Hill PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Jack Lane, Commonside, Wood Lane, Mill Lane, Rouse Mill Lane, Bradford Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 18 May 2026 and remain in force until 31 July 2026 between 07:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(MOORCROFT ROAD, DEWSBURYMOOR, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OFTRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBYGIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Moorcroft Road, Dewsbury Moor from its junction with School Lane to a point outside property No. 2 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via School Lane, Moorcroft Drive, Moorcroft Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence at 00:00 hours on Tuesday, 19 May 2026 and remain in force until 23:59 hours on 26 May 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WESTROYD AVENUE, SCHOLES, CLECKHEATON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Westroyd Avenue, Scholes from a point at rear of 139 Hunsworth Lane to a point at rear of 133 Hunsworth Lane, Scholes PROVIDED THATsuch prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of WestroydAvenue, Hunsworth Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 18 May 2026 and remain in force until 26 May 2026 between 09:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(RUEBEN STREET, LITTLETOWN, LIVERSEDGE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Reuben Street, Littletown, Liversedge from its junction with Bradford Road to a point outside property no. 10 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the following routes:-

Clockwise - via Bradford Road, Valley Road, Green Road, Knowler Hill, Bradford Road, GardenAvenue, Garden Parade;

Anti-clockwise - via the unaffected length of Reuben Street, Garden Parade, Garden Avenue, Bradford Road.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday, 5 May 2026 and remain in force until 17 May 2026 between 07:30 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(VARIOUS ROADS, CLECKHEATON/BIRSTALL/BATLEY/GOMERSAL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Cleckheaton/Birstall/Batley/Gomersal as follows:Westgate, Cleckheaton - from Wellands Green to Hightown Road
Lowood Lane, Birstall - from Dark Lane to B6125 Field Head Lane
Wards Hill, Batley - from Wellington Street to Hanover Street West Lane, Gomersal - from Latham Lane to Oxford Road
C516 Cross Bank Road, Batley - from Carlinghow Lane to Blakeridge Lane
C528 Staincliffe Hall Road, Batley - fromA638 Halifax Road to B6123 West Park Road C528 Deighton Lane, Batley - fromA638 Halifax Road to B6123 West Park Road
Shirley Parade, Gomersal - from Shirley Road to Shirley Terrace Shirley Terrace, Gomersal - from Shirley Parade to Shirley Road
Shirley Mount, Gomersal - from Shirley Parade to its termination point

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be signed locally as and when required.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday, 6 May 2026 and remain in force until 30 September 2026 as and when required on a rolling programme of works (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
