(PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, PRESCRIBED AND PROHIBITED TURNS) ORDER 2014 (AMENDMENT NO.2) ORDER 2026

(CONSOLIDATION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 1982
(AMENDMENT NO.95) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 30 April 2026 Sheffield City Council made the above Orders which come into operation on 5 May 2026 under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order will be to introduce:
- No Stopping At Any Time On Verge Or Footway on parts of Sheffield Road
- 24 Hour Main Carriageway Clearway on part of Sheffield Road (Tinsley);
- No waiting at any time on part of Sheffield Road (Tinsley)
- Prohibited right hand turn on part of Ferrars Road;
- Prohibited U-turn on part of Sheffield Road (Tinsley);
- No Entry on part of Sheffield Road (Service Road) (Tinsley);
- Prohibition of Driving on part of Sheffield Road (Tinsley);
- One Way Traffic on parts of Sheffield Road (Tinsley);
And remove:
- No Waiting at Any Time on parts of Sheffield Road (Tinsley);
- Limited Waiting free parking place 8:00am to 6:30pm, maximum stay 1 hour no return within 4 hours on parts of Sheffield Road (Tinsley);
- Prohibited right hand turn on part of Sheffield Road (Tinsley);
A copy of the Order may be viewed on the Sealed Traffic Orders section on the Council website at
https://www.sheffield.gov.uk/home/roads-pavements/traffic-orders
or examined during normal opening hours at First Point Reception, Howden House, 1 Union Street, Sheffield, S1 2SH. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Orders or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the enabling Act or that a requirement of the enabling Act or any of the relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within six weeks of 5 May 2026 to make application for that purpose to the High Court.
