What is happening?
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(MANOR ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Manor Road
outside property 22.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 11 May 2026 until 22 May 2026.
The diversion route is: Penn Road, Muchall Road,
Mount Road, Swan Bank and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate laying new gas and
electric mains for new development by MUA Electricity
Limited.
