Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 30th April 2026:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (MARLBOROUGH STREET (PART), FISHERMEAD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2383)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road to allow Vodafone to undertake works to install telecoms equipment.
Marlborough Street, Fishermead – From Chaffron Way to Childs Way (its northbound carriageway only).
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Chaffron Way, Saxon Street and Childs Way.
The closure will be in effect overnight between 8:00pm and 6:00am 11th – 13th May 2026.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (PRIMROSE ROAD, BRADWELL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2372)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road to allow Openreach to undertake works to access and provide underground cabling.
Primrose Road, Bradwell – From The Grove to Abbey Road.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Loughton Road, Vicarage Road and Abbey Road (and vice versa).
The closure will be in effect between 13th – 15th May 2026.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 28th April 2026, made the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (REDWAY CR03 (PART), CROWNHILL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2385)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of redway to allow Cornerstone Communications to undertake works to swap a telecoms pole.
Redway CR03, Crownhill – from its junction with Presley Way to its junction with the entrance to number 32 Vincent Avenue.
Whilst the above length of redway is closed, the alternative route will be via the footpaths on the opposite side of the carriageway
This closure will be in effect on 5th May 2026 between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (NORTH CRAWLEY ROAD AND NORTH CRAWLEY ROAD, NEWPORT PAGNELL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2393)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following parts of road to allow National Grid to undertake electricity reinforcement works .
4th – 31st May 2026 (24 Hours)
Renny Park Road, Newport Pagnell – its entire length.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via A509, London Road and Newport Pagnell (and vice versa).
1st June – 12th July 2026 (24 Hours)
North Crawley Road, Newport Pagnell – From its bridge over A509 to Renny Park Road
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Chicheley Road, A422, Chicheley Hill, Sherington Road, B526 and Tickford Street (and vice versa).
