ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
PUBLIC FOOTPATH AT WHEAT STREET, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Footpath closed to all traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to convert 3 arm signalised junction into a 4-arm signalised junction.
Order Commences: 5 May 2026 for up to 6 months.
Anticipated Completion: 8 January 2027.
Access & Diversion: No diversion available.
Contractor: Route One Traffic Management, Tel: 0121 289 4222.
HUMPHREY DAVEY ROAD, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Jeffrey Close.
Reason for Order: Drainage connection works.
Order Commences: 4 May 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 16 May 2026.
Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

BERMUDA BRIDGE, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Templar Way to Buckingham Close. Please note that the public footpath will be closed to ALL traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable installation of new parapet, overnight 20.00hrs - 06.00hrs.
Order Commences: 5 May 2026.
Anticipated Completion: 11 May 2026.
Access & Diversion: Vehicular traffic – Bermuda Road, Heath End Road, Bull Ring, College Street, College Street Rbt, Griff Way, A444 Rbt, Griff Way, Coventry Road rbt, St Georges Way and vice versa. Pedestrian diversion – Public right of way from Radley Drive, Radley Drive, Cornish Crescent, Heath End Road, Bull Ring, College Street, Footbridge from College Street over Griff Way, Maner Road, Middlemarch Road, Cycle track from Middlemarch Road to end of track, Footpath from cycle track to St Georges Way and vice versa.

Order Effect: Footpath and cycleway closed to all traffic.
Reason for Order: for works in connection to the signalised junction conversion.
Order Commences: 5 May 2026 for up to 6 months.
Access & Diversion: Vicarage Street.

VICARAGE STREET, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to convert existing 3 arm signalised junction into 4 arm signalised junction, closed 20.00hrs - 06.00hrs.
Order Commences: 7 May 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 11 May 2026.
Access & Diversion: Back Street, Newtown Road, Corporation Street, Jubilee Way, Burgage Walk, Coton Road, Vicarage Street, Church Street and vice versa.

WHEAT STREET, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to convert existing 3 arm signalised junction into 4 arm signalised junction.
Order Commences: 5 May 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 8 January 2027.
Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
WHEAT STREET, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Wheat Street, Nuneaton closed to vehicular traffic between Bridge Street and Justice Walk. In addition, the one-way traffic flow on Justice Walk and Bond Gate, Nuneaton will be temporarily suspended.
Reason for Order: To enable essential works in the carriageway.
Order Commences: 19 May 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 22 May 2026.
Access & Diversion: Church Street, Vicarage Street, Leicester Road.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
