TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
NEW LANE, HILCOTE
WHEN: 15 May 2026 (09:30 to 15:30).
WHERE: New Lane, Hilcote between its Jct. with Hilcote Lane to its Jct. with Oaktree Road.
REASON: To facilitate manhole cover and frame renewal works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B6406 New Lane, B6026 Huthwaite Lane / Blackwell Road, B6027 Common Road, A38 Alfreton Road, B6406, B6406 Berristow Lane, B6406 New Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
