THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (MILL LANE, KIRKBY IN ASHFIELD) (30 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2026 (4316A)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Kirkby in Ashfield in the Ashfield District in the County of Nottinghamshire.
1. No person shall drive any vehicle at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour on that length of road specified in the Schedule of this Order.
SCHEDULE
MILL LANE, KIRKBY IN ASHFIELD
From its junction with Laburnum Avenue in a south-easterly direction for 163 metres.
Relevant documents may be inspected during opening hours at:
(a) The Nottinghamshire County Council, County Hall, Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 7QP.

In order to fulfil a S278 agreement and make the speed limit more appropriate following the construction of a new development on Laburnum Avenue, Kirkby-in-Ashfield and Mill Lane, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, it is proposed to extend the existing 30mph Speed Limit along Mill Lane.
