(Temporary 30MPH Speed Limit) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from travelling at a speed exceeding 30MPH on the length of the A23 Crawley Avenue between the Horsham Road roundabout junction and Southgate roundabout junction.
The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst electrical connection works are undertaken.
The Order will come into effect on 29 April 2026 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed. It is anticipated the works will commence on 29 April 2026 and will be completed by 15 May 2026.
Any queries about the works to take place should be directed to ALS Civils telephone number 01843 850746. Any queries about the effect of the Order on vehicles using the highway should be directed to WSCC, telephone number 01243 642105.
