BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL HAS MADE

(Stoke Rd, Newton Longville) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2026 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Stoke Rd for approx. 119M. Alternative route: Stoke Rd, Drayton Rd, Newton Rd, Bletchley Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Anglian Water works commences on 6th May 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 6th May 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Station Rd, Winslow) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2026 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Station Rd for approx. 44M. Alternative route: Station Rd, High St, Sheep St, Little Horwood Rd, Magpie Wy, Lowndes Wy and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Anglian Water works commences on 11th May 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 11th May 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(London Rd, Aston Clinton) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2026 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in London Rd for approx. 60M. Alternative route: Aston Clinton Bypass, College Rd North, A41 Tring Bypass, Icknield Wy and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Thames Water works commences on 16th May 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 16th May 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Bath Ln, Buckingham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2026 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Bath Ln for approx. 25M. Alternative route: Bath Ln, Mitre St, Hunter St, Nelson St, Tingewick Rd, Bath Ln Terrace and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Gigaclear works commences on 12th May 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 12th May 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Dancers End Ln, Buckland) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2026 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Dancers End Ln for approx. 18M. Alternative route: St Leonards Rd, Painsend Rd, Duckmore Ln, West Leith, Aylesbury Rd, Icknield Wy, Tring Hill and vice versa. The closure is required whilst boundary box exchange commence on 6th May 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 6th May 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

THE COUNCIL HAS MADE

(Public Footpath No. 3, Parish of Stoke Mandeville) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2026 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. 3, from the junction of Public Footpath No. 2, north west for approximately 631M. to the junction with the Hospital. The Alternative route is from hospital closure point: 396M. west along SMA/3/1 to the junction with B4443, 625M. southeast along B4443, 225M. east along SMA/2/1, West to Lower Road to pick up existing footpath Lower Road. The closure is required to allow for works to proceed in connection with the approved South East Aylesbury Link Road. The Order will come into operation on 1 May 2026, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
