Commercial Road, Southampton - Temporary Prohibited Movement (No Right Turn) due to Carriageway Repair Works

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Southampton City Council made the above Order on 20th April 2026.
1. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit a no right-turn (east) from Commercial Road into Havelock Road.
2. The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road. These works are for carriageway repairs.
3. The alternative routes will be Cumberland Place, Charlotte Place and Brunswick Place.
4. The Order will come into force on 27th April 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the completion of the works, whichever is sooner. It is expected that the works will be complete by 27th April 2026.
