THE OLDHAM - NETHERHEY LANE ROYTON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING ORDER 2026

The Oldham Borough Council intend to make a Temporary Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along that part of Netherhey Lane Royton from its junction with Broadway for 25 metres in a northerly direction. Alternative Route - Traffic: A663 Broadway, A671 Oldham Road and B6195 Middleton Road. Pedestrians: opposite footway by means of a walkway

The Order is to be made to allow electricity cable works and will be in force 2 weeks from 5th May 2026, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
