What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)(A) THE A30 TRUNK ROAD (CROWLAS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (a) has made an Order on the A30 trunk road in the County of Cornwall to allow resurfacing and associated maintenance works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place on or after 27 April 2026 and be completed by 6 June 2026.
The effect of the Order will be to authorise:
(a) the overnight closure (20.00 to 06.00) of the A30 eastbound and westbound between Newtown Roundabout and St Erth Roundabout;
(b) the 24 hour closure of the laybys on the above section of the A30.
During the closures, traffic will be diverted via junctions of the A30 and local roads.
The closures (which will not apply to emergency service, traffic officer or works vehicles) and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works.
The Order will come into force on 25 April 2026 and have a maximum duration of 18 months.
