Proposed installation and removal of Disabled Parking Bays, Various Roads

1. Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council proposes to make the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984; The Portsmouth City Council (Various Roads) (Disabled Persons’ Parking Places) (No. 3) 2026.
2. The effect would be as follows:
a) To introduce enforceable disabled bays in the following locations.:
Baffins Road - Outside no's 15-17
Balliol Road - Outside no. 55
Bonchurch Road - Outside no. 22
Broom Close - Outside block 7-12
Cyprus Road - Outside no's 1-3
Cyprus Road - Outside no. 17
Glenthorne Road - Outside no.30
Grove Road - Outside no. 64
Guildford Road - Outside no. 57
Howard Road - Outside entrance to block 86-96
Inhurst Road - Outside no. 21
Laburnum Grove - Outside no. 51a
Leominster Road - Outside no. 37
Maidstone Crescent - Outside no. 8
North End Grove - Alongside no. 314 Twyford Avenue
Pervin Road - Outside no. 10
St Augustine Road - Outside no. 129
Stamshaw Road - Outside no. 123
Stanford Close - Outside no. 11
Station Road - Outside no. 49
Stirling Street - Alongside Stirling House
Tennyson Road - Outside no. 10
Turner Road - Turner Road north side, adjacent to No.1 Buckingham Green
Westfield Road - Outside no. 29

b) To remove disabled bays in the following locations
Balfour Road - Outside no. 30
Eastfield Road - Outside no. 57
Emsworth Road - Outside no. 36
Farlington Road - Outside no. 12
Farlington Road - Outside no. 10
Gurney Road - Opposite no.19
Kimbolton Road - Outside no. 82
Meredith Road - Outside no. 33
Northern Parade - Outside no. 131
Old Canal - Outside no. 2 Artillery Terrace
Paddington Road - Outside no. 15
Powerscourt Road - Outside no. 218
St Augustine Road - Outside no. 115
Stubbington Avenue - Outside no. 87
Woofferton Road - Outside no. 13
3. The bays would be available for use by Blue Badge holders only at all times. The Blue Badge or relevant permit issued by the council must be displayed in the windscreen of the vehicle at all times when using the bay.
4. Copies of the draft Order and Statement of Reasons and plans are available to view on Portsmouth City Council’s website: Search "Traffic Regulation Orders 2026" at

5. Persons wishing to object to these proposals must do so by sending their representations to

or by post to Traffic Regulation Orders, Parking Team, Portsmouth City Council, Civic Offices, Portsmouth PO1 2NE, quoting ref P008 - 26 within 21 days of the date of this Notice (i.e. by 18th May 2026) stating the grounds for the objection.
