The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended to: (1) introduce disabled bays on Almondside (Kirkliston), Avon Rd, Balmwell Gro, Barony Ter, Bonnington Gro, Broomhouse Bank, Broomhouse Ct, Broomhouse Gdns West, Burdiehouse Ter, Burgess Rd, Drum Brae Dr, Dunkirk Rd, Gilmerton Dykes Dr, Sighthill Ter, Southhouse Broadway, St. Alban’s Rd, Stenhouse Cres, Stenhouse Gdns, Telford Rd, Tyler’s Acre Rd, Walter Scott Ave, Wester Drylaw Row x2, Wester Hailes Pk; and (2) replace part of a permit holder only parking place and a daytime waiting restriction, that operates Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm, with a disabled bay on Sylvan Pl. Details of the draft Order and related documents, including our privacy notice, can be viewed online at consultation.appyway.com/edinburgh-city, from 24/04/2026 to 15/05/2026 by following the link to “Proposals in consultation” under reference Tro/25/52 or at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk. Documents can also be viewed at Waverley Court, Calton Hub, 4 East Market St, Edinburgh, EH8 8BG between 9:30am & 3:30pm Mon-Fri during the same period. Objectors must complete the form found via the “Proposals in consultation” link referred to above, or state their reasons in writing quoting reference Tro/25/52 to Traffic Orders at the above address, not later than 15/05/2026. Objections should state the name and address of the objector.
