The Council on 22/04/26 made the above Order to consolidate the parking restrictions currently held in the text-based Order, The City of Edinburgh Council (Traffic Regulation; restrictions on waiting, loading and unloading and bus lanes: east area) Traffic Regulation Order 2025 into The City of Edinburgh Council (Traffic Regulation; Restrictions on Waiting, Loading and Unloading, Stopping and Parking Places) Order 2025 (map-based Order). CO/26/01 came into effect on 16/03/26, This consolidation further adds the following to the aforementioned map based Order: (a) 24hr waiting restrictions and loading prohibitions (Mon-Fri 07:30-09:30 16:00-18:30) on tra(south side); (b) waiting restrictions (Mon-Fri 07:30-09:30 16:00-18:30) and loading prohibitions (Mon-Fri 07:30-09:30 16:00-18:30) on Milton Rd West (north side); & (c) 24hr waiting restrictions and 24hr loading prohibitions on Milton Rd West (north side). The Council hereby gives notice that the Consolidation Order shall be effective from 27/04/26. Details of the Consolidation Order (Co/26/01a) and related documents, including our privacy notice, can be viewed free of charge, between 9:30 and 15:30 Mon-Fri from 24/04/26 to 05/06/26 at Calton Hub, Waverley Court, 4 East Market Street Edinburgh EH8 8BG or online during the same period at www.edinburgh.gov.uk/ trafficorders.
