ASHFORD AREA
B2067 Warehorne Road, Hamstreet. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2026
To allow bridge repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of B2067 Warehorne Road, Hamstreet from 2nd May 2026, with estimated completion by 3rd May 2026, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of the rail bridge, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

To allow new connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Bedlam Lane, Egerton from 28th April 2026, with estimated completion by 30th April 2026, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Watersheet Farm, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

To allow new connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Chennell Park Road, Tenterden from 12th May 2026, with estimated completion by 14th May 2026, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Potts Farm, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Chennell Park Road, Grange Road, A28 Ashford Road, Silver Hill, Beacon Oak Road, East Cross, High Street, West Cross, Rolvenden Road, Cranbrook Road and vice versa.

Fiddling Lane, Brabourne. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2026
To allow new connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Fiddling Lane, Brabourne from 27th April 2026, with estimated completion by 29th April 2026, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside The Cowbarn, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Fiddling Lane, Broad Street, Church Lane, Whiteways, Curteis Lane, Scots Lane and vice versa.

High Street, Wye, TN25 5BL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2026
To allow water pipe repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of High Street, Wye from 11th May 2026, with estimated completion by 14th May 2026, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of number 38, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via High Street, Church Street, Bridge Street, Upper Bridge Street and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Kingsland Lane, Westwell. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2026
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Kingsland Lane, Westwell from 15th May 2026 for up to one day, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junctions with Tumbledown Hill/ Lenacre Street, heading approximately 1860m southwards, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Eastwell Lane, The Street and Westwell Lane.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Malmains Road, Pluckley. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2026
To allow utility works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Malmains Road, Pluckley from 27th April 2026, with estimated completion by 30th April 2026, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Gore Court, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Malmains Road, Station Road, Dowle Street Road, Sparrow Hatch Lane, Surrenden Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Maytham Road, Rolvenden. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2026
To allow tree cutting works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Maytham Road, Rolvenden from 13th May 2026 for up to one day, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between East Lodge and in the vicinity of Great Maytham Barn, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Maytham Road, A28 High Street, Tenterden Road, Rolvenden Hill, Rolvenden Road, B2082 Smallhythe Road, Peening Quarter Road, Palstre Court Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Mill Court, Ashford, TN24 8BQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2026
To allow new connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Mill Court, Ashford from 11th May 2026, with estimated completion by 21st June 2026, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed adjacent to number 108, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for this closure, however, residential and emergency access will be maintained at all times when it is safe to do so.

Moor Lane, Appledore, TN26 2BD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2026
To allow utility works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Moor Lane, Appledore from 13th May 2026, with estimated completion by 15th May 2026, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Southfields Farm, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Woodchurch Road, Bench Hill, Appledore Road, Brook Street, Moor Lane and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Old Surrenden Manor Road, Bethersden, TN26 3DF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2026
To allow installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Old Surrenden Manor Road, Bethersden from 29th April 2026, with estimated completion by 1st May 2026, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed west of the junction with Kiln Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Old Surrenden Manor Road, Mill Road, Forge Hill, A28 Ashford Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Redbrook Street, Woodchurch, TN26 3QS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2026
To allow new gas connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Redbrook Street, Woodchurch from 27th April 2026, with estimated completion by 4th May 2026, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Redbrook Cottage, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Redbrook Street, Plurenden Road, Bethersden Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
River Hall Lane, Biddenden, TN27 8JL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2026
To allow pole and cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of River Hall Lane, Biddenden from 30th April 2026 with estimated completion by 1st May 2026, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed approximately 40m south of the junction with Cot Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via River Hall Lane, Pook Lane, Wagstaff Lane, High Halden Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

To allow cover and frame replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Rose Hill, Wittersham from 28th April 2026, with estimated completion by 30th April 2026, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Primrose Cottage, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Stocks Road, Wittersham Road, Catts Hill, Appledore Road, Lower Road, Rose Hill and vice versa.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of Red Riff, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

To allow installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of William Road & Christchurch Road, Ashford from 29th April 2026 for up to one day, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00, or until the works have been completed.
William Road will be closed between the junction with Christchurch Road and number 32, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
Christchurch Road will be closed at the junction with William Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Christchurch Road, Beaver Road, Bond Road, Jemmett Road and vice versa.

Various Roads, Ashford. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2026
To allow the Highways & Transportation High Speed Road Programme to take place, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on various roads in Ashford.
This order takes effect on or after 1st May 2026 for up to 18 months, between the hours of 20:00 and 05:00 only. It may be necessary for some of the roads to be closed on multiple occasions for each phase of the works. Planned dates will be published in advance of the works on One.Network displayed on site 14 days before they start.
These works are subject to weather conditions and other factors which may potentially cause changes at short notice. Every effort will be made to keep as close as possible to the planned dates and any changes will be publicised.

A28 Templar Way, Ashford
The road will be closed between Drovers Roundabout and The Tank Roundabout, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Chart Road, A292 and vice versa.
A28 Simone Weil Way, Ashford
The road will be closed between Drovers Roundabout and the junction with A28 Canterbury Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A28 Canterbury Road, Magazine Road, The A292 and vice versa.
A2042 Romney Marsh Road & Avenue Jaques Faucheux, Ashford
The roads will be closed between the junctions with Beaver Road and A2070 Bad Munstereifel Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A2042 Station Road, A292 Mace Lane, A292 Hythe Road, Lacton Interchange (A2070 M20 J10 Roundabout), A2070 and vice versa.
