NORTHILL; THORNCOTE GREEN, HATCH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Thorncote Road, Hatch; Thorncote Road, Northill and Thorncote Green, Hatch between Bedford Road and Brook End.

This temporary closure is required to enable vac pot maintenance work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 18 to 19 May 2026 between 9am and 3pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Thorncote Road, Ickwell Road, Northill Road, Caldecote Road, Ickwell Road, Vinegar Hill, Hatch Road and vice versa. The Order will come into operation on 18 May 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Millow, Dunton outside Simutec Systems.

This temporary closure is required to enable fire hydrant repair work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 19 to 21 May 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route will be via Biggleswade Rd, Cambridge Rd, Northfield Rd, Common Lane, Loves Lne, Ashwell Rd, Millow and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 19 May 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Gravenhurst Road, Campton outside number 15.

This temporary closure is required to enable cover and frame repair works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 5 to 7 May 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Greenway, A507, Shefford Rd, High St, Campton Rd and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 5 May 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier. For further information please contact Anglian Water – 0800145145.
