What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC GLENWOOD DRIVE, ANLABY COMMON (WHOLE EXTENT)

Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Bernadette Avenue, Anlaby Common (whole extent) commencing Tuesday 12 May 2026 (between 08.00 hours and 18.00 hours) to excavate and replace a damaged telecoms pole, unable to maintain a minimum width to carry out replacement. The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.

The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within the given time. There is no alternative route for traffic affected by this closure.
