The City of Edinburgh Council

(Arden Street) (Temporary road restriction And Traffic regulation) order 2026 – Temp/26/31

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate the installation of footway build-outs, no person shall drive or cause or permit any vehicle to be driven on any part of Arden St, from the extended north kerbline of Spottiswoode Rd, northwards for 9.5m. The alternative routes for through vehicular traffic in relation to the road closure of Arden St – (1) Arden St, Warrender Pk Rd, Marchmont Rd & Spottiswoode Rd; or (2) Arden St, Warrender Pk Rd, Spottiswoode St & Spottiswoode Rd. The Order shall have effect from 27/04/26 to 01/05/26.
